Dear Friends in Christ,

I was glad when they said to me,
“Let us go to the house of the
Lord!”   Psalm 122:1

As was discussed this past Sunday in the Congregational Meeting, because of the impact on our in-person attendance these past five months, we will be temporarily altering our current worship schedule. Beginning this Sunday, September 6, we will be offering just one service at 9:30 AM. Adult Bible study and Sunday School will start at 10:45 AM. The Lord’s Supper will continue to be offered privately on non-communion Sundays (2nd and 4th) from 12:00 – 12:30 PM in the sanctuary.  While we anticipate the resumption of our normal schedule in the future, we are among a large percentage of LCMS churches that likewise have chosen to temporarily streamline and reduce the number of service offerings. We will reevaluate the decision at the end of the year based on where we are with COVID. As always, the service can also be heard and viewed in-person either in the Parish Hall or gymnasium and will continue to be livestreamed and available for viewing on our website. We are indeed extremely blessed as a congregation to have the facilities and technology to offer these different viewing options.

BARBEQUE AND POTLUCK THIS SUNDAY (September 6) – Immediately following Sunday School Hour at 11:45 AM.
Meat (pulled pork and sausage) and drinks will be provided – Please bring a side or dessert to share; someone will be available in the kitchen before the service and during the Sunday school hour to receive the dishes. Please contact the church office if you have any questions.
